I bought it at http://www.music123.com Model Year: 2000 Price: $379.00 (new) Where Obtained: Music 123.com Features: This unit has two channels with vol., bass,and trebble controls for each channel.It has aux inputs for cd or tape players so you can jam w/ your favorite tunes.Channel two also has a mic input and a jack for keyboards or drum machine. The master controll section has a chorus with speed and depth contorll(w/ on,off switches for both channels),Reverb controlls,and anti feedback contolls for both channels. The rear pannel has a footswitch jack,a line out jack,a di out(xlr type output for pa aplications)and an effects loop. It has solid state electronicsn Sound Quality: I use a Tacoma jm16ce4 with this unit And no other effects . It is well suited for home , studio or live situations. Ease of Use: Even a dork like me can use it. Durability: Built like a rock .solid state.

Reviewed on 7/1/04 by Wayne Jay (57) Rating: For the price, the features and sound quality are excellent. The construction seems to be up to Marshall's reputation. It's definitely a keeper. Model Year: 2004 Price: $380 (new) Where Obtained: Guitar Center Features: Excellent tone and a moderately useful chorus effect. The reverb is standard, but works well. Not a lot of bells and whistles. The xlr input is useful with the Taylor Expression system on my 814ce, but I usually use the unbalanced input on the acoustic channel. Sound Quality: Excellent for acoustic amplification. A warm, clean, uncolored sound... just like it's supposed to be. Also, I've gotten in the habit of running my PRS custom 22 Brazilian Limited through this amp on the second channel and using a PodXT in the effects loop. I'm starting to think that acoustic amps are the best way to get the tone you want out of an amp modeller. Ease of Use: Plug, play, enjoy. Durability: It holds up to travel and whatever I make it do. So... so far, so good.

It has no tubes, just solid state electronics, I think. Sound Quality: I use a Fender Montana acoustic electric I play blues, folk: another day in paradise, ain't no sunshine, landslide, summertime, give me one reason, and a few original blues songs It's not noisy at all, and I play in a ceramic tiled area It's very clean, and mellow. love the sound Ease of Use: Dunno I haven't fiddled over abundantly for a nice sound My amp ownership is quiet limited to two, a fender beginner's practice type, an a ibanez 'baby' amp Durability: I haven't played over an hour at a time yet, but will soon as the holidays are over It's new, so no repairs yet dunno, looks sturdy, but wouldn't sling it around
