I got this album a week ago, and it has hardly come out of the CD player. It's kind of an introduction to the blues for me. I haven't listend much before this. But now I'm looking into any Blues I can find. I love the way king and clapton worked together on this project. They mix so well. I think the best example of this is track 8, "Worried life Blues" . The way that they switch off, the call and response. It grabs my heart and gets me going from the inside out. I wish I new more about blues so I could give some comparisons for you more seasond players. After I get more blues under my belt I will update this resorce. One thing I do know about the blues is that if you're in a funk it will pull you right out of it.

Just an awesome album. Clapton and King's rapport is evident throughout the entire album. They seem to feed off one anothers ability. It's also a great treat to hear B.B. play a little acoustic blues. Great guitar by two of the all-time greats.

There are some very good tracks and Clapton hasn't played this well, or had such an awesome tone, in years. But the CD doesn't really sustain my interest through every track. It has some lulls. But there are some fine King and Clapton licks to study up on.

Yes, this is the best Clapton offering I've heard in years. Yes, this is a very good CD. Yes, BB King also plays - and sings - great. No, it's not the best thing either of the two has ever done. There are a few uninspired/boring moments - but only a very few. And it's one of the best new CDs around - no difficult feat if you look at the state of music at the moment.

Great album, a sure fire blues album for those who are being introduced to blues, and also to an experienced blues activist.
