  1. Fender Nickle Plated Super Bullets ·
I would use no other strings for my Strats, at this time.

  2. Ernie Ball/Music Man Power Slinky ·
These strings are a bit on the heavy side and make it feel like your playing an acoustic not an electric. I don't think I would use these strings on any of my solid body electrics. I would recommend these on semi-hollow and hollow bodies, if you...(more)

  3. Guitar Player Repair Guide by Dan Erlewine ·
A great book for any level player, that would like to perform their own maintenanace, do their own set-ups, and make minor repairs. This is a player's guide and not a Luthier's type manual.

  4. The Illustrated Directory Of Guitars by Nick Freeth Charles Alexander ·
Provides an interesting read on the history of the guitar and its evolution. 480 pages with over 240 color photos. Slightly larger than pocket book size and soft bound. Provides a good source of information as a general guitar reference.

  5. Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner ·
Excellent little tuner, particularly if you use alternate tunings or have multiple types of instruments. Prices vary, shop around as they are available from most musical equipment suppliers.

  6. DigiTech RP-100 ·
I would select this unit over a comparable Boss or Zoom. If I were to need to replace the unit I would spend a few more dollars and move up to one with a built in expression pedal.

  7. Kyser Quick Change Capo ·
Great capo for playing and as a "tech" kit tool. A bit pricey, but probably worth it in the long run. Well designed and constructed there is no worry over neck damage. The standard model works well on my electric 12 string, as well as my 6 strin...(more)

  8. Schaller Strap Lock ·
Well worth the money. Prevents involuntary strap releases. Also prevents post "pulling" when installing and removing heavy leather straps with tight holes. On the down side; release knob can be a bit difficult to grasp and pull, components only ...(more)

  9. Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & the Holding Company ·
Janis Joplin's second album as a member of Big Brother and the Holding Company, is one of the greatest rock/blues albums ever recorded. A standout album of the sixties.

  10. Jay Turser Hawk 12 ·
If you want an electric 12 string in your arsenal and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this may be what your looking for. The initial price and overall quality make this guitar worthwhile even if you find you need to do some upgrades.

  11. Oscar Schmidt OE-30B ·
This guitar is probably one of the best buys on the internet, as they can readily be had, new, for $150.00-$175.00. Since I bought mine, three other players I know have purchased one, after checking mine out.

  12. Gator Deluxe 335 Type ·
Very nice case for the money. Offers piece of mind while transporting your 335 style guitar. I would choose this case over most others in its class.

  13. Fender Roc Pro 1000 Combo ·
I don't think these amps are in production any longer, but I am seeing a number of both the head and combo models showing up in used equipment venues, so I thought I'd submit a review. If you can get one at a good price and want loud, go for it,...(more)

  15. Shianne - My Way ·
This is a great effort by Shianne. Her second cd includes a couple of new versions of previous material and some really good new stuff. Shianne did this one her way and it really shows through. From a technical standpoint, their are some issues,...(more)

  16. Time Was / The Wishbone Ash Collection ·
This album features some of Wishbone Ash's best recordings from 1970 - 1981. During this period there were two lineup changes, but the band remained faithful to its dual lead guitar and great vocal harmonizations, style. The contrast of the guit...(more)

  17. Yardbirds Greatest Hits Vol.1 (1964-1966) ·
An excellent compilation of the Yardbirds first two years, with fairly equal representation of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, but no Jimmy Page. The tracks were originaly recorded in mono, so the sound quality is a bit inferior and for that reason ...(more)
