  1. Guitar Pro Tab/Note Learning Site ·
I find the software very good (Guitar Pro). The site, www.mysongbook.com, is much smaller than OLGA. On the other hand, you get notes and you can hear what you are playing. If you need a song in a hurry, and you don't have time to find what y...(more)

  2. General Tab Search ·
This is becoming my favorite tab site. It is good for learning. If you find you are getting a lot of tab from a particular artist, buy the book. I found a lot of John Mayer tabs on this site and I am buying his book now that it is out.

Great site! How many artists teach you how to play what they are playing?

  4. Gibson Les Paul DC ·
I like extremes. This is an extremely simple guitar. I love the sound. It has the best of the best Les Paul sounds. It is light but it sustains well. I like the 24.75" scale. I like the neck way better than a Paul Reed Smith. It looks cla...(more)

I haven't gotten the books or CD's yet. This might be a Christmas present to myself this year. I will let you know how it compare to www.homespuntapes.com.

  6. Lessons, Arrangements, Guitar Info ·
This site is pretty well organized. It talks about gear and has some lessons and arrangements. Jeanie Hill recommends an arrangement of Danny Boy (Londonderry Aire) by Mark Hanson. Thanks Jeannie. Good site!

I think this is a great site to find gear. I haven't bought anything from any of the music stores, but some of the stores are well-known.

  8. Hirade HP5R ·
The guitar is a signature model. It is signed, but it is also marked as a second. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they marked it a second. I have a Les Paul DC and a Martin Shenandoah D-3532. The Hirade is my favorite guitar. Som...(more)

  9. Martin D-3532 ·
Yamaha's, at the time, sold for about the same cost as the Martin. I'm so glad I went with the Martin. I have never played a Yamaha that comes close to this guitar. This guitar has the look and feel of a very expensive guitar.

I haven't bought anything here, either. My guitar teacher bought music from here. This is a good place to look for classical guitars.

This was the only place I could find my favorite strings for acoustic guitar. The strings I like are D'Addario EFT15's. The sell great acoustic guitars.

This is a store I would like to visit some day. They have some pretty good cross-picking lessons on their web page.

I chose it because I played on it for several months every Friday night at my friends house. He bought a custom hand wired something or other. This amp has been perfect for me. It is loud and it sounds good. The Les Paul sounded really good ...(more)
