The only way this guitar could be better is to have been equipped with better pick ups and been made in the good ol' USA. I took my time with the purchase of my instrument and played several other brands. I had it narrowed down to Epi LP and thi...(more)

In my opinion, if it weren't for all the people on this site that like to bash you for an opinion you might have, it would be great. It has a lot of good lessons and interviews. They have a very active message board, but use it at your own risk....(more)

I had plenty of other amps to choose from. I would have chosen this amp over any marshall or the likes. It is MY preference. You may like it as much as I do, but you have to try it to see, The only down side to this amp is the weight. And I can ...(more)

  4. GVox Guitar Software ·
This software would be a nice purchase for a Strat owner..other than that, you will find it difficult to run. I could have learned alot, and have learned a little, but I was not connected to the pc during my lessons. This basically defeated the ...(more)

If you have a chance, check out him and Dave Matthews on VH1 Storytellers or get the double cd "live at Luther Collegs". It is simply amazing. Check out his website to see his new solo work and experimental styles...he is a unique character!

Its decent if you just need an idea of how a song is played. Most of the time, the tabs are wrong..once in awhile you will gwt a good one...but they are few and far between.

Overall, I found the tabs to be relatively accurate. But, as with all user submitted tabs, you will find some that are wrong. I think it is suitable for beginner to intermediate players.

  13. Danelectro FabTone Distortion ·
I'm very happy with this ppurchase. I wish I would have gotten it along time ago. One downside, is that it only has bass and treble control knobs. It should have a mids knob too. But I'm completely happy with the performance of this thing.

I took it back after only two days of owning it. It was not very good at all. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone that needs a good distortion pedal and needs it to be versatile.

I was blown away by the way Robert Johnson plays guitar! It is simply amazing to me. I was also quite suprised how many of his songs have been covered by the blues greats!

  18. Trouble Is... by Kenny Wayne Shepherd ·
I really like this album. I can put it in the cd player and listen to the whole thing. How many albums can you do that with nowadays?! I think he is starting to shake the "SRV Clone" status he has been shadowed by since he hit the scene.

  19. Blues At Sunrise by Stevie Ray Vaughan ·
A couple unreleased tunes and a few live tracks. One with Johnny Copeland and one with Albert King! Amazing to say the least. SRV never ceases to amaze me with his god-like guitar playing!

  20. Make Yourself by Incubus ·
I like a few of the songs on this album, but overall, I'm not thrilled with it. Alot of the songs sound the same. I think it is another one of the generic new offerings of the times.
