   If all you want to do is mic the vocals... Check out the Fender Passport PA system. It is a completely powered mixer looks like a an oversized luggage bag and it comes with two microphones. You can add monitors to it also and it's simple enoug...(more)

   A friend of mine always wanted to name an old band of ours "The Band Formerly Known As...". Seemed like a good alternative at the time... How about The Beatless or Smashing Pumpernickel or My Dixie Wrecked (get it?) Good luck. Steven

    Session musicians make good money if they are in a music community that can support them (ie New York, Los Angeles or Nashville). They definitely make more $$$ than road musicians and if you don't feel like working you don't have to! Of course...(more)

    Actually I think MIDI is wonderful!!! For example, in Cakewalk, I can use Soundfonts which are sounds controlled and played via MIDI but they're samples of REAL instruments not something like the old arcade games. The same goes for creating guit...(more)
