Try getting your hands on a program called T. Racks (ala T-REX) it is a eq/tube amp simulator and compressor all in one. It will really create a "warmer" or "fuller" sound.

Session musicians make good money if they are in a music community that can support them (ie New York, Los Angeles or Nashville). They definitely make more $$$ than road musicians and if you don't feel like working you don't have to!

I love to use melodic minor phrases on ii-V-I's (major and minor). I think there is a lot of majic still undiscovered in that scale.

Actually I think MIDI is wonderful!!! For example, in Cakewalk, I can use Soundfonts which are sounds controlled and played via MIDI but they're samples of REAL instruments not something like the old arcade games. The same goes for creating guit...(more)
