Yes, that's the tuning on the original studio recording. I think he may have played it in EADADE on some of the live recordings, but it's the same intervals regardless. It's fairly easy to play in that tuning; I think it's more straightforward t...(more)

Pat Metheny - by far the most talented guitarist/songwriter I know of. He's so prolific that he often stops the roadies from tearing down the stage completely after a gig because he has an inspiration that he wants to work on right then. He's be...(more)

They did borrow a lot of riffs for their blues based tunes, but the great Zeppelin songs were all originals - "Stairway", "Kashmir", "Ten Years Gone", et al.

Dick - I should qualify my statements by saying that the Fender Twin delivers a warm clean tone in the normal volume range, but you either have to make people's "ears bleed" to get it to overdrive at all or you must use some sort of signal proce...(more)

An important point for the Fender Twin is that it will reproduce the natural sound of your guitar very well. So it's not really important which brand guitar you get, but whether it has a sound you like (and playability, looks, etc.) I have a '6...(more)
