    The compensated saddle is all about intonation, not tone. If your intonation is good, i.e., plays in tune all the way up the neck, looks like you're all set. Problably though, if you check closely with a tuner, you'll find it's not correct. T...(more)

    Try checking out some early Join Mitchell. Interesting style with lots of alternate tunings. Also, Maybelle Carter (June Carter Cash's mother) had a style all her own.
