I bought a DMC-80 last year around November, and have been wondering, Is there any way I can get a nice clean sound from it? I can get a nice overdriven sound with the distortion channel or whatever on, but even messing around with the controls ...(more)

Hey, what's up! Like the pedals, man! The sound clips sound really good considering the fact that they're compressed for windows media (at least in my case, don't know if for all), so I've got to say in my experience that they must blow ya away ...(more)

I'm looking for new pickups for both my Archer Quilt-top, and Ibanez RG470, and need help with some of the choices I'm trying for in tone! BTW, both guitars are wired HSH 5 pickup switch, single volume, single tone, I'm changing the RG's because...(more)

Check out a Diezel amp, they probably have what your looking for, but the cost is $$$$$$$$$$$, cheapest I've seen is 4 Grand, if that says anything.

How experienced are you? If you're pretty decently skilled, try to dowel the screw holes! drill them out a little (NOT A LOT), flush cut a few hard-wood dowels, and glue them in, leave them overnight, or use a hair-drier (on low just to dry the ...(more)

What recently came to mind after my reply was that it MAY be a Charvelle, since bothe Kramers and Charvelles were both rather simillar in body style.

I've got to say that It looks like an older mid 80's Kramer Barretta or Similar style, Though I'd say it is DEFINATELY a Kramer style guitar, can't think of anything else it looks like. Hope this helped LATERS!

Try some Hot/Cool Rails from Seymour Duncan, or some YJM's from Dimarzio, both are great, or so I've heard for the YJM's, I tend to like Duncans myself, and have tried the Rails, they sound nice, and you don't need to worry about bends either!

I've been thinking about upgrading my RG470, as well as refinishing it, I was planning on adding some better pickups, and electronics. The old pots are starting to where out and one is so loose it doesn't work much, so that's why I'm planning a ...(more)

For a short while now, I've been planning on respraying my Ibanez RG470. The catch is I want it to stand out! However, I'm unsure as to whether the paint I'm planning on using is any good for the basswood body. Since I work on cars rather often,...(more)

Very possibly, but I just KNOW I've seen something just like it someplace before... probably just me though.

No, definitely not a Warlock, I'd know a B.C. any day, I used to play one of my friends all the time (a Bich). It looked almost like a Dean ML, but wasn't, and it was white. I really can't help much to help myself, but you'd have to see the vide...(more)

Heck yeah, ya could make a killing with the market! I know of a few people who got a deal on an old whare-house that was about to go to the chopping block, they paid nearly 10 large, put scrapped all the old wiring (it was old, so there was tons...(more)

I'm trying to find a particular guitar model out there but I have no idea of either what model it is, nor of which company made it. I've only seen it once before... a music video (figures). Has anybody ever seen the Motley Crue video, Too Youn...(more)

Most of the time, the best tone can (and WILL) come from the least expected places. I've even heard Fender cabs put out some serious power, but that was a vintage cab, newer ones aren't so great. The best answer to this question over the best ca...(more)

I was at a friends house the other day and heard him playing a killer solo, after he was done, I had asked him what he was playing, which he said was an E minor over an inverted A Major Pentatonic. May I ask WTF this would supposed to mean, if...(more)

I sortof know what your saying, whenever I decide to actually pick uop the guitar instead of talk about it, I don't log on for a couple days, which often turns out to be a couple of months.

I'd agree with Randall, but I think Mesa is a bit overrated for my liking. Also, try looking at some Peavey speaker cabs, in my opion (which isn't much) the tone beats the price. The best way to find out what you like is to try out as many cabs ...(more)

Thanks for the response. I've already seen tons of trouble with this "project", which is why I decided to post requesting for help. In all actuality, I was planning to use some sort of pigskin (American football leather) for the straplocks, and ...(more)
