For so long, I've been looking for both The Dimbag signature LiveWires, as well as the Yngwie signature string sets. So far, I can't find anywhere that sells them. Any help?

If you can, try to find a guitar with a Mahogony body, it will sound better for the type of music you're playing. Basswood just doesn't sound right. As for the guitars you're looking at, I'd still probably go for something less expensive, you're...(more)

Hey, jave you ever seen Black Sabbath at Ozzfest? Those geezers are still rocking hard three decades later! I wouldn't be surprised abot any other bands of the same era doing the same... for example, Rollin' Stones, they still rock hard as ever!...(more)

Does anybody like them? I'm looking forward to the Syracuse show next Friday (exactly 7 days from the Tesla show). It will be my first Grand Funk show, and I'm highly looking forward to it!
Does anybody have any idea what might be on the set? ...(more)

It's obvious I do, since I'm starting the topic.
Apart from that, who here listens to them? Also, who here has been to one of their shows?
The Syracuse show is this Friday, and I'm gonna be there, so, I'll tell about it afterwards. I've hear...(more)

Signs, be Tesla. Mainly because I don't know anybody other than me who likes them, or who listens to them. Other than that, most people don't talk about that song being a favorite.... Sorry, gotta go, the songs stuck in my head again!

I though the F**K YOU was originally the shortest description or Rock? Or is it just me?
To me, metal is just that, metal. Steel, Titanium, Iron, Copper, TiN. Unless you're talking about the music, than I'd say any band from the 80's and earli...(more)

Needless to say... I am! I can't miss something like this, the chance may never come around again!
If anybody here is going to either of these concerts, this Friday (Tesla), and next Friday (GRand Funk), you might just wind up seeing the great...(more)

Oh, yeah, one thing I forgot about.... do they play anything sortof like the OldSchool Kramers (when they had alumin necks), or is the neck any different? I've only played one aluminum necked guitar (an old Kramer)and I didn't like the tone, alt...(more)

Yeah, aluminum is rather light, but I hate working with it, using a Tig is so much a pain in the rear, I like steel more because you can just Mig it. Plus, aluminum is almost like stainless, it takes a lot to ruin it to the point of it rusting o...(more)

It's a good concept, especially since metal is denser than wood, which should give more sustain. The only problem I've ever had with meytal is the weight, but then again, this is from somebody who made a Les Paul out of 10 gauge Diamond Plate.

Uhhhh... something like that happened to me once, but it was much, much more expensive of a problem. I plugged my guitar into the amp, turned it on, and the left speaker blew, it was almost like somebody put a cherrybomb in it, the noise, and da...(more)

JRock is Japanese Rock, and JPop is Japanese Pop. It's just shorter to say JRock, or JPop, and it's also what the Genre is considered outside of Japan.

Did you know that eating Doritoes makes your plant want to smoke YOU?! It'll wrap ya up in a sheet (privided you have one), then light you up by your afro, all while playing Bob Marley on YOUR stereo!
Allright, honestly, I got that from watc...(more)

As for creativity, I'd have to say JRock ussually tops off most Rock bands from the US, or Europe, well, modern rock, at least.
And, as for JPop, it doesn't get as annoying as American "Pop-Stars" happen to.
Has anybody ever listened to JRoc...(more)

I've been constantly trying to upload a Sig to a forum that I'm a member of (Not This One!), and it's proving to be tooo much trouble, and not worth as much of the hassle.
Everytime I try to set up my sig, I'm constantly getting this error... ...(more)

I would take it that you may have played an RG, but probably not one of those expensive high end ones, that cost MORE than a JEM? Now those are good, they got some of the best tone, and sustain in the industry.. or at least for the body style.

I don't really like them, they don't look much different than an RG, only difference in the body is the hand grip thingy. The Satriani guitar now, I'd definately go for that!
