I've long quit playing guitar, going on 2 years come December. I just find it hard to pick it up, yet alone play.

For somebody who's seen Gratzky as a kid at Madison Square, as well as followed his carrer, I find it rather difficult to find much in Hockey nowadays. It's just not the same, and to me, it's not going to get any better.

Good choice. Both brands seem to have great pickups, and it's hard to argue with that.
If you can, try to find some sort of midi clips or something of those pickups, that way, you can see for yourself which one you like most.

Thanks anyways. I've also posted this on Dragons Generation Emulators, which is where I've been frequenting lately. They use IPB (although it's highly modified) and a lot of the S Mods have their own boards.

If I'm trying to learn a song from a band I listen too (or don't), I ussually use tablature, and add my own twist to it, though only enough to make it sound different, while at the same time sounding the same.... Confusing?

If you take off the rubber stoppers from the bottom of the pedal part, you can get more range with it. Also, taping a few picks on the bottom, and you can get more range with less effort (not like it takes too much)

Hmmm, I can't say it's easy to imagine a solid body acoustic. Last I remember, an acoustic uses the empty space and the soundhole to project it's sound. If it's solid, I can't even imagine any good acoustic tone coming from it. It would be more ...(more)
