    no, you definitely dont need a new guitar, its probably a wiring problem, a potentiometer (volume control) problem or a jack problem. Any guitar store that has a tech/repair guy could fix this for you in a few minutes I would think, and for much...(more)

    yeah, basically you can retrofit any guitar with them, and the advantage (Ive found) is that you stay in tune a lot better. The only reason I dont put them on my tele is that I might have to widen the tuner holes, which is tricky, and plus its v...(more)
