    I dont think it really matters as long as the song fits in some way, I have seen transcriptions from different sources that use different time signatures. But that is a good question I wonder if there really is a way to tell for sure.

    I don't ether (regard astrology too highly), but in my younger days... I would read up on anything esoteric. But it's funny how Astrology always seems to be vague enough to find something that can be reflected in yourself.
