   The best buying decision I ever made was to get a Simon and Patrick SP6. $300. Great, great masterpiece of a guitar. You'd have a hard time doing better even if you spent $2,000.

    No free version for XP. Win98 and Mac OS 9.2 only. But if you get an MBox (under $500), an XP version of ProTools comes with it.

    The Buddy Holly Story is a decent movie if accuracy isn't a concern to you ... what I mentioned above is the documentary: The Real Buddy Holly Story, which Paul produced in response to the movie.

    I have the S&P Cedar 6 -- fantastic guitar. Great, booming tone. It blows away many $2,000 to $4,000, name-brand guitars I've played. I don't have a problem at all with the action/playability.
