    I play at small parties, jam sessions etc. Lots of players use backing tracks for drums, base, rhythm lead, just about everything except lead voice.

    I play an American standard Tele. I love the Maple fretboard it seems a little brighter to me. I hahad the same on my strat. It's the only way to go IMHO. Also I prefer the C neck. To me it plays faster.
