    the jazz selection is kind of hit and miss- my perception is that there are basically 2 kinds of users on LaLa- some just trade off CD's they no longer have interest in, and some "collect" music by trading and ripping tracks to their hard drives...(more)

    Yeah, you have to learn alternate picking in order to economy pick. I used to some exercises designed to be tricky for alternate picking- that time would perhaps have been better spent working economy picking. JC

    I don't mean to imply that alternate picking work isn't needed, it is indeed a part of economy picking. <br /><br /> It's just that I spent soo much time using strict alternate picking when economy picking would have been a better way to go. ...(more)
