    Needs a neck reset....ALL Martins need this done at some point. If you're the original owner, you can have the repair done under warranty. If it's a 15 or 16 series, it's a bolt on neck and the repair is much more simple than with the dovetail...(more)

    We ended up with more than 140 entries...about $1420 raised for Habitat for Humanity's Asian relief effort. Shanna Gowenlock from Atlanta won the guitar. Thanks to all who donated in this time of need in SE Asia. Dave

    Follow the supplied instructions to the letter; however, you will probably have to re position...that's why they supply the extra adhesive. I found the I beam to be a bit midrangey although it doesn't have the quack of most under saddle types....(more)

    The guitar is out of adjustment...could be: Neck backbow, easily adjusted Saddle too low, again, a fairly easy fix Nut too low, best left to a qualified tech Uneven frets, best left to a qualified tech Good luck.

    Generally speaking, most are pretty good. The imports can be much improved through the use of a John Quartermann made cone.

    Stewart MacDonald sells stain that is lacquer compatible. Usually the process is to stain the raw wood, and also to tint the first few topcoats with the stain too. This helps to even out the color.
