    I highly recommend the use of a TUBE mic pre, particularly with a piezo pickup...really sweetens up the harshness of some of the piezo stuff. A tube also slightly limits the dynamics, regardless of gain settings, even more so as the gain is run ...(more)

    Check your neck bow first....fret the guitar (any string)at the 1st fret and the 14th fret...look at the gap between the string and the 6th fret...you chould just be able to slip a couple of pcs of typing paper through(abour 0.008" to 0.010")......(more)

    I don't for sure know if they're done, but while I was at Peavey in Leakesville, they quit selling parts to Peavey and I was told they were finished...that was more than a year and a half ago....
