I owned a Floyd Rose Strat. I didn't notice any excessive string breaking. One thing you don't want to do is over tighten the string clamps, as you can wear them out pretty fast. And always change strings one at a time. What I didn't like about ...(more)

Jonathan,<br /><br />I use Fast Fret on my guitars, but not too often. Usually once a month during my deep cleaning. I find that it keeps my strings smoother, and I like the way it conditions the fretboard.<br /><br />If any other <i>Wholenote</...(more)

Sure, it's "cover" tunes. Sure, it's easy money. But any chance I get to listen to the Master on a Les Paul, I'm there. I'm an old Zep head myself, and the absence of a good new Page song in years only makes me want to listen to it more.

Hi Players, I'm having problems entering slides, bends, ect. from the event menu in the composer. I have used the help section to no avail. After creating a picking event and advancing the time measure, I click on slide and cannot enter a note...(more)

Don't let 'em rag on your Squire Sean. I started out on a Floyd Rose Squire Series, and everybody that plays it raves on it's action and response. I did put a Duncan Pearly Gates in the bridge and never regretted it. If you can play, you can get...(more)

It would be helpful to know where it is breaking, and what kind of bridge is on you're guitar. Sounds like maybe you have a problem at the bridge. If there is a sharp edge where the string crosses it, you may need to smooth it out a little, as i...(more)

Which link are you talking about Bruce? Guess I'll just have to jam with my Tascam. I don't mind traveling, but KC is a bit of a stretch.

If "No Quarter" doesn't glaze you over, check your pulse, of course John Paul Jones' keyboard sets the mood. That riff is so simple yet so killer...lets face it, they were magic as a group.

It's a killer version of "What is and what should never be". I saw Jimmy on tour with the FIRM. While there were no LED ZEP songs played, when Jimmy got inside this laser light pyramid, and the fog crossed the stage, and he drew his violin bow a...(more)

Do yourself a favor Scott, go off the deep end and buy the BEST amp you can afford. You won't regret the investment as much as you will having to try and unload something you won't be happy with in the long run.

I've been cursed with having to choose between 2 Hamers, A USA Archtop Studio, and a USA Archtop GT. The Studio has a Wilkinson wrap around bridge and the GT has a Tune-o-matic type (Grover made) tailpiece. I tend to spend more time on the later...(more)
