    It's just simple Maths, Debra. Any two digit number XY has the value of (X * 10 + Y) The sum of the two digits is (X + Y) Subtracting the latter from the former gives :- (X * 10 + Y) - (X + Y) which simplifies to (X * 9). Now, the final ans...(more)

    I would guess that because Jazz chord playing <i>requires</i> use of the flesh to hold down multiple strings at a given fret, this would become a 'natural' way of approaching lead playing also. This may be especially true for those few lucky pl...(more)
