    It could be Syncopation. It depends which 32nd note/notes You want to give a rest.

    I think Math Rock is just a collection of Rythyms and slower Tempos. They probably only will play 60-72 BPM. Then throw in a whole bunch of 32nd notes. Probabaly sixteenth note triplets too, with some rests in between. It sounds mad cool to me.
