Welcome to my page at Wholenote.

I'm a 52 years old amateur guitarist and I play mostly acoustic fingerstyle.I'm able to flatpick (not too fast...)

After 5 years of guitar inactivity due to a stupid accident, I resumed playing in a trio. Portuguese guitar, acoustic guitar and bass. I'm enjoying every minute of it! I also play electric guitar, but as I get older my preferences changed for the acoustic side.

I like and listen to almost every kind of guitar music (acoustic or not). Folk, blues, jazz, classical, flamenco, bossa-nova, latin ,celtic(you name it) and of course good portuguese music. Yes, we have good music and musicians in Portugal, unfortunately the best are almost unknown outside borders.

I play a little mandolin, and tried the banjo with little sucess. Sometimes I play portuguese songs for my friends, they always ask that.

Joined a classical amateur choir in 2004, and struggled to learn how to sing properly...have no vocal technique. Had to quit, but may be an experience to repeat in the feature.

For living I work with computer software, mainly mainframes.
Please feel free to contact at aefrosa@portugalmail.com, I like very much to receive and answer e-mail, to talk about music, guitars, artists, recordings or even to say hello.

I'm also a Band-in-a-Box user, a great tool for learning.

If you want to know some of the records I like, I've made some reviews to the resources at Wholenote.
