My name is Dan and I have been playing the Bass guitar on and off for over 25 years. I wanted to be part of this site because I love the guitar and want to expand my instrumental knowledge. A major influence in my desire to expand is my instructor who I have studied under. His instrumental knowledge and experience as a first call studio Jazz musician has given me a new outlook on music.

Setting aside 25 years of playing the bass is hard. But the hardest part is trying to break bad habits I learned. The easy part is taking lessons from a musician who knows his stuff. I am having alot of fun but also realize the importance of practice. I hope to learn more from my instructor and the cats at Wholenote.

Below is my arrangement and composition that I wrote for all the instruments. The bass and drums are live feeds Dave my drummer and I composed. Hope you enjoy it.
