Metal Made Simple...Sort Of

Welcome to Metal Made Simple...Sort Of

Whats up guys. I've been playing guitar for about seven years now. I've had a few lessons but I'm mostly self taught. I've tried a lot of things that have helped me and a lot of things that haven't helped me in the best genre of guitar playing...METAL. Hopefully, I can shed some light on what will help you, and what is a waste of time!

A Few Things That Have Really Helped Me!

Here are just a few things to keep you new metal heads busy! If you do all of these things, you will become a better player...I promise.

1.) The Fret board: Learn the notes on the fret board! Doing so will allow you to play songs more fluidly and eliminate guesswork once you begin to be able to play notes by ear. This is a valuable thing to know!

2.) Start learning scales: If you plan to get into the world of lead guitar, you have to know scales. Whether its blazing fast or tear dropping slow, scales will make or break that solo of yours.
