My name is Don Harrold. I began to play guitar in 1982. This page will give you some insight into my style, influences, and favorite techniques.

I believe that the most interesting and diverse guitar can be found in the genre I love, "Heavy Metal". Metal allows for such a tapestry of sound and experimentation where other genres are more rigid and unforgiving of change (ie Country, Classical, Jazz). Look, there are unbelievable stellar players in all schools of guitar, I just happen to believe that Metal offers the greatest range of talent.
