He was born at Ubatuba. Ricardo started to play guitar in 1995 after heard a “Cacophony” song, performed by Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. After that he took many hours studding guitar alone. He took some classes with Fernando Valero (VanQuisher), Pedro Carpinetti and Pollaco in 2002. His influences are Hard rock, Heavy Metal, Trash and Death Metal. His first band, Mortal Descant (that changed its name to Ophiolatry), was very popular in São Paulo for the short age and ability of its musicians.
Ricardo started to play full time only in 2003 due to it is very hard to live as a musician in Brazil, but he played with many artists at Vale do Paraiba.
