Musician turned Lawyer turned Musician who still practices law. Fortunately, I make a living as an attorney in Florida where I have been practicing for over 22 years. Quit the band I was in, in the early 80s to go to law school. My cut of the nightly take was either $7.80 or $8.70, I can't remember. But it wasn't why I got into music anyway. I have been playing for over 40 years. In the mid 70s got out of the groove on guitar, wasn't progressing to my satisfaction and picked up bass and piano. Basically I put the music aside for about 20 years and have recently formed a 3 piece, Classic Rock, band. We did alot of older stuff and a bunch of newer songs. The Band has pretty much fallen apart, so I have been looking into trying a solo gig with midi files.
Wholenote has helped me immensely in getting tabs, lyrics, and even lessons, and I'm falling back into the groove of playing lead. My main instrument is my voice. Main inspiration from Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Zappa, Gilmore, McGlaughlin, Santana, just to name a few.
