Tryin to find my voice...

Welcome to my page!

First off, I would be lying if I said I wasn't grateful for music being in my life, and at my finger tips. I started playing during the summer of 2001 with a nearly 30 year old emperador acoustic. Once I was hooked, I bought myself an Alvarez RD10 acoustic, which I still have. From here, I haven't looked back yet.
A few months later, I bought an electric Alvarez ASG3VW and have since gone through two amps- a cheesy 12 watt crate amp and a crate gx30m (ar, ar, ar more power!).
Also, I managed to get my hands on a used Ibanez classic guitar back in the spring of 2003. Needless to say, I really like actually feeling the strings on both hands and the warm tones nylon strings produce.
My "newest" instrument is a 1955 Gibson mandolin that my grandpa bought new back in the day, played in a country western band for a year or so, then never played it much after that. This past holiday season, my uncle and I 'swiped' it, got it fixed up with a new bridge, tuner heads, strings, and some tlc. So now it's our to mess around with, cool, eh?

For anyone who has AOL's instant messenger and wants to chat, just ask for my screen name.

I originally put these links up since I didn't have a computer of my own in the dorm, and it's since grown into merely a cool way to share the wealth of guitar stuff that's out there. Have fun. Clicky-clicky...
