Uhhhh....
I'm new to wholenote as of summer '01. I've been playing guitar since May '01, and I'm making some great progress. Today's music industry is a sorry picture. It's full of, in the words of Scott Weiland, "cock-rock made by a bunch of dishonorable c---s." Nu metal...it's not even metal! Metallica is a bunch of sellout, finger-tapping pigs. Jimmy Page is probably my idol (yea, very original, i know). Being a young whippersnapper, I have blind allegiance to Marshall and Gibson. Click HERE for my other, bigger home page... You can also reach me on AIM. My screen name is LedRevolution19.
My Gear And Music I Like
----- I own an Epiphone Les Paul Studio guitar. Some people dislike Epiphones. For 400 bucks, I couldn't have made a better choice. I love my guitar, as all guitarists should. I pretend to be a gearhead, but buying gear won't make you a better musician! ------------------------------------------ My current setup is through a Boss BD-2 Bluesdriver and a Crate GFX-212T amp. I reccommend the Bluesdriver pedal to anyone who is looking for a 50's-60's-early 70's rock sound. It is truly fantastic. Right now I'm saving up for my first real amp, a Marshall TSL100 half-stack. Going to Guitar Center all the time has turned me into something of a tube snob, hehe ;). I really made a mistake buying the Crate, but that's a different story. If you would like pictures of my gear, check out the link above. It leads to my big homepage where there is a link to ANOTHER page that has pictures...oh what the hell: CLICKY ------------------------------------- I listen to all kinds of rock music, from Classic Rock (Hendrix, The Doors, some Stones) to Hard Rock and metal (ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, Van Halen w/ DLR, Sabbath) to early 90s grunge (Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots). My main musical focus is listed as blues, but only because Blues/Rock is not an option. That is my main area of play.
Musical Influences
• Classic Rock: Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd
• Hard Rock: LED ZEPPELIN (favorite band), AC/DC, old Van Halen, Sabbath
• Grunge/Alternative: Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Nirvana
  Favorite Recordings
• Are You Experienced, Dark Side of the Moon
• Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions, Led Zeppelin I, Physical Graffiti
• STP: Core, Alice In Chains: Facelift, Nirvana: Incesticide
