I've been playing guitar since May '01, and I'm making some great progress. Today's music industry is a sorry picture. It's full of, in the words of Scott Weiland, "cock-rock made by a bunch of dishonorable c---s." Nu metal...it's not even metal! Metallica is a bunch of sellout, finger-tapping pigs. My Gear And Music I Like ----- I own an Epiphone Les Paul Studio guitar. Some people dislike Epiphones. For 400 bucks, I couldn't have made a better choice. I love my guitar, as all guitarists should. I pretend to be a gearhead, but buying gear won't make you a better musician! ------------------------------------------ My current setup is through a Boss BD-2 Bluesdriver and a Crate GFX-212T amp. I reccommend the Bluesdriver pedal to anyone who is looking for a 50's-60's-early 70's rock sound. It is truly fantastic. Right now I'm saving up for my first real amp, a Marshall TSL100 half-stack. Going to Guitar Center all the time has turned me into something of a tube snob, hehe ;). I really made a mistake buying the Crate, but that's a different story. My main musical focus is listed as blues, but only because Blues/Rock is not an option. That is my main area of play.
