The virtues of an everchanging taste in music
As my friends often remind me, going through phases is is maybe the the only constant in my life- and I make no exceptions when it comes to music. At present I enjoy classical music the most, although I think I'm beginning to see a predilection for jazz in the horizon. One thing, however, is certain: this site is useful no matter what I like to play at the moment. it is truly a guitarist's utopia. I think we would make Marx proud.
About the favorite recordings
I have a friend who likes to find analogies between music and tangible things- stuff like "tip-toeing midgets" in Raphsody in Blue and etc. Well, using this method, I think I'd compare the Cannonball to lying on the sand in front of the ocean, without a sound or thought going through my mind and provoking the absoulte serenity. The closest thing to the Chopin is sex-'nuff said.
