Mark Hanson has authored over two dozen books and videos on acoustic guitar. He regularly presents concerts and master classes across the country, and has shared the stage with such luminaries as John Renbourn, Alex de Grassi, and the late Jerry Garcia.

Marks music is heard regularly on radio and television programs, including Martha Stewart Living. He has performed live on National Public Radios West Coast Live program. In the late 80s, Mark was an editor and columnist at Frets Magazine, interviewing guitarists such as James Taylor, David Crosby, and Leo Kottke.
