Music is what I am
As early as I can remember there was music in my house. My older brother played piano and I took lessons at a young age, learning to read music about the same time I was learning to read books. I sang in church choirs and joined school band playing trumpet. I got my first guitar at age 12. "Wipeout" was the first tune. Since then I have learned to play flute, violin and bass guitar. I have played out regularly and appear on an album.

But I like to eat.
And buy decent equipment. So I felt a need to upgrade my day job. I got an engineering degree and have not played regularly since moving from Austin to Dallas TX. That is changing, as evidenced by my finding Wholenote. I am new to Wholenote and I have some good lessons to share and look forward to working through some of the other members's lessons here. Even after 32 years of playing, I can still learn. The following influences and recordings are incomplete and bound to change.
