Hi! I'm a young and yet-to-learn-a-lot guitarist. I'm 15, and I'm mostly into rock and blues guitar styles. I totally dislike (don't want to use the word 'hate' too much) music which is written by others with the famous and rich 'musician' just has to sing a bit. I like bands that are original, such as Nirvana and Limp Bizkit. Obviously, to me, guitar is an essential part of music, and the vocals are second to the music by far.
Currently, I have a Samick Custom ProShop
guitar that I bought second-hand about a year ago. It was and is my first and only electric guitar so far. I don't know if its good or not, as I can't compare it with other guitars.
I use a Zoom GFX-707
effects pedal, which I think ROCKS, especially when looking at its great price (read my review
on this pedal for more info on my opinion on it).
- Kurt Cobain (got me into playing guitar)
- Jimi Hendrix / KWS / SRV (electric, fast blues)
- Eric Clapton / BB King / Muddy Waters (soft blues)
- "From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah" from Nirvana (also all their other albums)
- "SCIENCE" from Incubus
- Eric Clapton & BB King
