I'm a Santa Cruz-based guitarist and custom transcriber operating a business called Professional Guitar Transcriptions. I've been translating music to paper for any student confounded by it's sonically beautiful complexity for the past 8 years. My work has caught the attention of the genius of custom pedal modifications, Robert Keeley, Gibson Guitars, Hal Leonard Corporation, musical comedian Stephen Lynch, and Nashville producers and session players. For the past year, I've been touring the country as lead guitar player for Ryan Pelton, an Elvis Tribute Artist and up-and-coming singer/songwriter, where not only have I been busy playing Elvis music in 35 states, but learning over 100 songs for a dozen other Tribute Artists while recording Ryan's first original CD, Wash Over Me. Lately, I've begun writing monthly lessons for Premier Guitar magazine. The links to those columns are in my "Lessons" page, so keep looking back for exacting analyses of monumental guitarists' styles.
I'm available for private guitar lessons and playing live music as a lead/rhythm guitar player in Top 40, blues, rock, and country bands, as well as studio situations.
