My latest acquisition, Greg Bennet Signature Royale.
My current interest is playing and listening to Blues (and Jazz) and I also enjoy making tube amplifiers. My favourite of these is a small 15 watt amp based on the Fender Blues Deluxe circuit.
Current guitars: Greg Bennet Signature Royale RL-2/CH, Ovation Classical with pickup, unknown brand Telecaster copy, Ventura tobacco coloured violin-shaped bass ,cheapo Magnum Acoustic, Ultra-cheap archtop from eBay (made in Asia) that I am working on :-)
Amplifiers: Maton 'Studio Pack' 50 watt
Home made amplifiers: Vox AC-15 clone 15 watt, Fender Blues Deluxe clone 15 watt, Fender Champ clone
I certainly like small amps like the Fender Deluxe. Lovely clean tone, and can be driven hard without going deaf. When miked up through a good PA, can be very impressive (I don't like DI, always use a microphone in front of the amp)
