Epiphone Les Paul Special II Hot Rod Flames, Zoom G2.1U & Marshall MG15CDR
Mid Life Crisis Electric Guitar
Hi, I bought my first guitar and amp combo in September 2005, a kind of a mid-life crisis thing. It was a black and white Fender Strat clone from KCC. The first thing I did was to add some Ernie Ball slinkys which improved it no end.
The Fender clone wetted my appetite and with some Xmas money I bought a Zoom G2.1U special effects pedal. I am sure that one day I will have advanced far enough to actually understand and use it.
Following on from that, I used be into Drag Racing and Hotrods, and I saw an advert for an Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 with Hot Rod Flames. Luckily this coincided with my annual company bonus. I loaned the Fender clone to my youngest son, of course now we had to share the amp (you can see where this is going). It was my birthday (50) this May and I got some more cash. So I bought a Marshall MG15CDR practice amp.
