Some beautiful art by M.C. Escher
And the Dead Spake:
Hey there, my name is Jacob Jensen. I am fifteen years of age. I have been playing guitar for about six years, and practicing guitar is one of the main consumptions of my time. I have three guitars; a 2001 Peavey Raptor, 2003 Fender Squire, a heavily modified 2004 Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and a used Ibanez RG470.
The Realm of the Unreal:
In regards to the styles of music that I enjoy playing on guitar, Neo-Classical metal (a la Yngwie Malmsteen) is high up on the list. I don't really sympathize with the metal image or messages, but I enjoy the challenge that the musical aspect presents. I tend to be pretty light-hearted when it comes to the music that I choose to play on guitar (as in, I don't get very into the pieces of work past the guitaring). Really the only artists that I really enjoy listening are Yngwie Malmsteen, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, and classical composers such as Vivaldi, Bach, and Paganini.
