Education & Training:
|
Started early with 4 years of Classical training. From there my intrest in guitar grew to the extent that I found myself experimenting with all styles, and moved from band to band. Now settled as a mostly self-taught guitar teacher.

Personal Statement:
|
I believe in one on one lessons unless you want to learn with a friend which can be more fun. The goal is to teach the basics of the guitar and playing to the student in a relaxed atmosphere, and from their work at the students preferred pace, towards the types of music the student wants to play.
I have one group of people that actually has band practice at my house now, and part of my function has become to co-ordinate the music... this all started from one girl, who later decided a friend should join her. So far the teaching has tended to end up rock orientated, as most of my students are young, wanna-be, hopfully soon to be rock stars. But at my place anything goes, and the more creative we can get the better.
As time go's on I like to help the student set up practice regimes, but to always keep on moving in the direction THEY want to go.
