I studied at first with John Mills, Melbourne and later with Sebastian Jorgensen at Montsalvat, Eltham, Victoria. I then sat for AMEB practical and theory exams to achieve a recognized milestone. I then continued studies under Sebastian Jorgensen.

Personal Statement:
|
I have also participated in Alexander Technique workshops for musicians and extensive private Alexander Technique lessons with an emphasis on performance. This has given me a firsthand experience of the importance of body awareness and improved use of oneself in playing an instrument.
Education/Training: AMEB Gr. 6 (Guitar); AMEB Gr. 5 Theory (Hon.); B.Sc.
I am available to teach Classical Guitar at my residence for students at beginner to intermediate level. Lessons include a combination of practical and sufficient music theory to support the music played. I try to meet the needs and interests of the student so they may acquire a good standard on the guitar and enjoy playing and learning about music.
