Skill Levels: Beginner, Intermediate
Teaching Experience: 2 Years
Teaching Location: your home, outside in a park ... anywhere is fine

Musical Influences: Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Shawn Lane&Jonas Hellborg, Bill Laswell, Frank Zappa, Bud Powell, Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny, Mark Knopfler, McCoy Tyner, Thelonious Monk ... sooo many
Performing Experience: I was practicing on a beach in India,a few local workers showed up.I played accompaniment as some sang trad indian songs, very simple yet most challenging thing I ever did. Subtle and always moving music,it was a very strong experience.Let's be humble.
Education & Training: As a child I studied basic music theory for 4 years and classical/jazz piano for 6 years. Later I took up guitar (13 years ago now) and never stopped. I studied theory again, mostly jazz but also classical counterpoint and fugue ...
Personal Statement: What I would like to offer is a natural relationship to music and to your instrument ... I can make you work on tapping or special licks or jazz progressions if you wish, but I hope to make you realize something broader than frets and notes. Listen and learn to create a mood naturally with a few notes and chords for instance ... Guitar playing seen as similar to speech or dancing ... I hope to make my students better players than I am !
