I specialize in teaching adult guitarists who already play guitar and have had experience with different styles of music. I also enjoy teaching motivated beginners. Often my students study with me because they are "stuck in a rut" and are no longer progressing. I have developed an approach to guitar lessons that gives students self confidence and a feeling that they understand what they are learning and can apply that information to "real life" musical situations. The topics I work on with students usually fall into one of three categories: Knowing the Fingerboard, Knowing the Tools of Music and Improvisation and Real Music of the greats.
