I try to tailor all lessons to the individual student's needs and desires, but I always lean toward a full understanding of theoretical musicianship as a foundation for any playing style. Most players will morph through many styles in their career and a solid background in basic musicianship, performance and recording etiquet, etc. Is the biggest help with that. A fully equipped 24 track studio allows us to explore recording and record production as well.
