I am dedicated to teaching as much as I am to music. I know my job is not only to provide technical information, but to inspire, guide, and above all, provide personalized direction. I do not insist on classical technique, but I apply it and teach it whenever it can help. I have reviewed over 150 books (so far) in an effort to select the best sources and especially to help students avoid the mediocre majority of material out there. I hope that my students learn how to learn. I hope to enable you with the tools to go in whatever direction you prefer, and yet I also care that I can provide clear, strict, organized study when needed.
