Education & Training: I am primarily self taught, but have had lessons from various players(Alvin Diaz,Steve Newman).
Personal Statement: My basic approach is to find out what the student already knows, and then show him the 'next' step, whatever that might be.I try to ascertain what direction they wish to progress in and then work out a realistic goal.If the student wishes it,we can focus on a specific aspect or deficiency of his or her style. My teaching style is very direct yet flexable. I like to call it a 'modular' approach in that i provide the student with building blocks to work with.
