Jimi gets down and plays classics resembling Muddy and T-Bone in his own style. These are the songs the purple haze playing radio stations left out.

This re-issue has 5 previously un-released bonus tracks as well. One of the bonus tracks is a live version of "Texas Flood". Also a live version of "Life without you" which to me is the ultimate form of irony.

King and Vaughan just jamming their heads off. Amazing guitar playing on some King tunes and Vaughan tunes as well as some standards. King even plays some rhythm guitar which is uncommon for him.

This was a special 70th birthday concert for John Mayall and a reunion concert for the Bluesbreakers. Mick Taylor & Eric Clapton join in on a few songs. A very good double CD for a person just strating into the blues.
