Rating: I looked at fender based products first, namely Jaguars and mustangs, because of the artists who inspired me to play were playing these guitars. My first guitar teacher played a Mustang. If it were lost or stolen I'd have a tendency to just move on to the next guitar. |

Price: $340 canada (used)

Features:
Chrome tuning pegs. standard bridge. double cutaway strat-style body. Black polyurethane finish with white pickguard. |
|
Playability:
Very active-sounding guitar. bright tonal qualities. Very susceptible to feedback, which I prefer whereas most don't. Low E-string produces fret buzz between 12 and 15th frets. |
|
Sound Quality:
Boss DS-2 distortion pedal w/ crybaby wah. I can see neo-punks using this guitar for its noise making capabilities. |
|
Durability:
The nut is showing signs of wear on the g and b strings.
Intonation could probably be better. The neck is excellent. Guitar rarely goes out of tune unless left in damp area or near a window. |
