Rating:
As you can probably tell in my comments below, I think that this is a great tool for someone who is ready to advance from the pen and paper composing method to the technological equivilant.
Price: $50.00 (new)
Where Obtained: www.guitar-pro.com
Suitable for all skill levels of guitarists
Features:
Multi track tab editor software enables you to lay down your specific track specifications (like an acoustic or percussion play-along.) Gives you the opportunity to listen to what a hard-copy tab would sound like, once entered into the software. Thousands of tabs in the online tab library available for download. Speed play option gives you the option to practice a set of bars over again and again, while it slowly increases the tempo.
Ease of Use:
It was a little tricky to learn at first only since it didn't come with a manual, but it was self explanatory after a little practice. I don't have an electric/acoustic or an electric guitar, so I didn't really pay attention to whether it had an electric plug in capability, but it does have the feature of converting midi's into tab which in turn could be the same thing.
