Brillian first guitar you will never want to part with it
Model Year: 2005
Price: $600.00 Euro (new)
Where Obtained: Musicians incorporated Dublin Ireland
Features:
Guitar made in mexico. Bodu is made of Alder neck is made of Maple. 22 frets which are the non jumbo original format. Machibe heads fender standard. Has tone and volume control three way selector for the two pickups one at the neck and one at the bridge. Middle selection activates the two pickups. Pickups are standard fender single coil.
Playability:
Factory action setting is low but not too low perfect in fact. The neck is very quick I was surprised when I tried it out in the hop and became a fan immediately. I have a Hank marvin strat also made in mexico this guitar would not have the same playability as the strat but when it comes to acustic sound the higer density of the teles bodu comes into its own so one does not need an acustic this can do the job. I have gigged with this guitar played bylan to heavy blues it takes it all in its stride. Flaws well the pick ups can be noisey. i can live with this because I see it as part od the teles sound if you don't like this buy one with humbuckers.
Sound Quality:
I use this through a Marshal amp perfect. If I had to change anythinh I would probably get a set of vintage pickups But i don't see that happening
Durability:
You could throw this against the wall and it would still be in tune has'nt neede adjustment ot anything and I have been playing it for a yest non stop. Well done fender a budget guitar that lives up to the name
