Rating:
Great value, an excellent guitar with road worthyness.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $700w/hardshellcase canadian funds (new)
Where Obtained: local music store
Features:
This G-series electric acoustic is a real eye catcher, with its translucent charcoal finish. It has chrome tuners and the rosette is concentric rings with dot inlays in the rosewood fretboard.
Playability:
The action required a little work out of the box, but is quite tight after tweaking. Compared to other guitars i have played/tested. this one i feel has the best bang for the buck
Sound Quality:
Sitting side by side with a full size dread you notice a difference in bass depth, becasue of its thinner design and cutaway. However, this sound i feel compliments the duet. When alone this guiitar performs with excellent overall tonal quality. Plugged into an amp it is very versatile and the onboard electronics give it alot of flexability and range.
Durability:
Since aquiring this guitar, i have used it in many different live situations. From backyard campfire jams to full on gigs. Happily i can say that it has worked flawlessly and with proper maintenance, i expect that it will for years to come.
