What other guitars did you look at, and why did you choose this one? I was looking for a more verstile guitar, looked at afew fenders, epiphones etc, but I decided I"ve always wanted an S470, so I just went for it. Would you buy this guitar again if it were lost or stolen? OF COURSE!!!! How could this guitar be better? The pickups What's your favorite aspect of this guitar? How sexy it looks. And of course the tremolo (which i'll be getting the bar for in the mail soon). The worst aspect? Pickups....I persolnally don't like Ibanez stock pickups Anything else you'd like people to know about this guitar? Good for whether you're a thrasher or jazzer. One guitar, almost all styles.

Playability:
Can you obtain your preferred action on this guitar, and what is it? Was already setup when I got it and I'm happy with that How does the neck affect your playing? Feels alil bit different than my RG How well does it play compared to any other guitars? Compared to my other one (RG), I tend to like this one better Does it contain any flaws? It was used, so it was missing the tremolo bar. frets were abit dirty but i cleaned that up, none other than that, and afew dents here and there, the inlays were abit dirty too. Original owner didn't take such good care of it?
Sound Quality:
What amps and effects do you use it with? I run it through my Digitech GNX3 into my Vox Ad15VT What musical style(s) do you play and well does this guitar fit? This thing can literally play anything from death metal to mellow jazz lol Is it well-suited for any other styles? Yes, perhaps the most versitile i've ver owned Is the sound full, warm, dark, etc? Full, warm. Can go dark and heavy if you distort it. How does the sound compare with other guitars you've played? I acually like the more versitile sound. Are there any mods you're considering? Yeah, going to put a seymore duncan jazz in the neck position. Is it noisy at all, or in particular situations? I use my noise gate on my GNX3 so yeah Does it seem noticeably better for the stage or studio? Seems ok for both.
Durability:
Is it reliable enough for steady live playing? This thing's built like a rock!! How often does it need to be adjusted? (truss-rod, intonation, etc.) Haven't adjusted it, only had it for less than 2 months How are the strap-locks, controls and hardware holding up? I have di marzio straplocks on this one too, same ones steve vai uses. Controls and hardware seem pretty durable How does it fare during climate changes? Only had it for less than 2 months, dunno how long the original owner had it for, he didn't take really good care of it.

I chose this guitar because it was relatively cheap for any other type of guitar like it, originally I had planned to get a JEM (Steve Vais Model) but it didnt quite fit my budget and this one was the nicest looking guitar I had ever seen. If I could buy this guitar again I would as long as it fit my budget. The Only way I could love this guitar more is if it was autogrphed by Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Jimi Hendrix. My favorite part about this guitar is its tremolo system, just amazing! (It has no bad aspects...)

Made In Korea, 6-string Guitar, 1 Volume and 1 Tone control, Locking strings, 22 frets, INF1, INFS1, and INF2 Pickups, Amazing Tremolo system, you can change your spring tension to suit your style.
Playability:
This Guitar Is the best I've played, can't find one thing wrong with it, its a masterpiece! It suits many styles of guitar playing, wether you want a really heavy metal tone, or a fat body guitar tone, youve got it. All of the frets are easy to hit, I have no trouble hitting the higher notes like on some guitars where the high frets are too thin for your fingers. The Tremolo system is out of this world!
Sound Quality:
Sound Quality is great, you can get a fat tone like a les paul type of guitar, or a thin one like a fender strat. I play mostly instrumental rock like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, or Yngwie Malmsteen, this guitar fits it perfectly. I use a KUSTOM 65 watt amp with effects built in, and it sounds great with all of them, especially delay. I sometimes hear radio stations coming through my amp if I turn it up loud enough, but not as much as some other guitars I have played.
Durability:
I have had it for about a year without any problems, I did adjust the neck once but only because I got a different string guage. Its a very sturdy guitar, I can hold it up by its whammy bar without any fear and do almost anything to it, so it holds up pretty well.
